I spend a lot of time with music, whether that be listening, reading, or playing. A hobby of mine that I want to extend is annotating and analysing pieces of music and the messages that they communicate through instrumental and lyrical storytelling. Another disclaimer : These Analyses are not THE Analyses - they are my own personal interpretations. Many of these annotations will be on songs that I select myself based on my own fascination or desire to share my thoughts - but I do very happily take recommendations.
Film

I am a huge film fanatic and I am beyond pumped to have a platform for all of my nerding out. I hope that one day, when I have written and directed my own film, that I will look back on this page and have a little I made it moment. But for now, I'm quite happy to be the inspired rather than the inspiring. My takes on movies and characters are again, opinionated, so please keep that in mind. I also would love recommendations of your favourite (or least favourite) movies, not specifically for this series, but just for the sake of having more movies to watch.
There will also be a lot of talk about my favourite film styles and directors, and repeated mention of some of my most beloved characters and troupes.
Books

I also love to read! Growing up I would keep a torch in my draw and a book underneath my pillow, and I would rebel by reading past my bedtime. I adore immersing myself in the story and coming to love the characters like I know them. I love classics, fantasy, romance, thriller, mystery, dystopia and everything in between. I take recommendations for this series as well! These of course, will take a bit longer, but will have much more to analyse.
